馃挧WATER is a regional 900 MHz LoRa MeshCore assistant. It answers diagnostics and weather requests, enriches route information with CoreScope, monitors the two-way bridge, and watches RF conditions with a receive-only RTL-SDR.

The RTL-SDR is a passive RF observatory: it measures relative spectrum energy and noise near both profiles to help identify activity, congestion, and interference. The center artifact is excluded from peak calculations. It does not decode packets or prove message or bridge delivery.

Authenticated group text on the declared channels is bridged in both directions between the SMF and Bay mesh profiles.

Direct messages, adverts, binary/control packets, paths, traces, and ACKs are not bridged. This list is a reviewed declaration; USB telemetry reports bridge health but cannot read back the firmware whitelist.

The labeled profile centers and bandwidths are also marked on the live RF view. The RTL-SDR observes both profiles but does not transmit or decode their packets.

History & roadmap

Direct WCmesh MQTT is the planned low-latency observation source. CoreScope remains useful for validated history, indexed packet correlation, route analysis, and regional summaries. The bot will use both through separate read-only adapters instead of recreating CoreScope.

Planned regional views use SMF for the Sacramento side and Bay for OAK, SFO, and SJO. Missing observer sightings will remain inconclusive鈥攏ot proof of failed delivery.
